SUPPORTING LOCAL GRASSROOTS FOOTBALL
Legionella and Fire Safe Services are proud to support local, grassroots junior football. With this is mind, we are pleased to announce our sponsorship of Withymoor Colts Diamonds Under 13 Girls where we have covered the cost of team training coats for two years, for the junior players.
The all girls team play in the local league SDYFL (Stourbridge District Youth Football League)
All girls are year 7 or 8 at school, age range of 11-13.Some of the girls are going into their 4th full season but started with the club in the development group 6 years ago.- who knows perhaps we may be looking at some of the future Lionnesses
Team Manager Stacey Tyler-Crisp said, “Thankyou so much for the support from Legionella and Fire Safe Services this sponsorship will cover our team for two years, grassroots football is desperately under funded so teams need to constantly fundraise. We desperately needed coats, hats etc to keep them dry and warm during those cold winter months, so we are all excited to be able give them these now all thanks to LFS.”
The Sponsorship idea came from LFS being approached to support The Olly Wilkes Tournament ,A MEMORIAL football tournament remembering footballer Olly Wilkes , who played for Withymoor Football Club and sadly passed away aged just 22 in 2017. Organiser and Dad of Olly, Simon Wilkes, organises the annual tournament with wife Lynn and son Ben to help raise money for various charities each year.

Legionella and Fire Safe Services would like to wish the Withymoor Diamonds, the best of luck for the season and look forward to following their progress. Make sure you are following us on Facebook and Twitter and Linkedin , where we will keep you updated with how they are getting on!
