MIXERGY RESULTS

The results so far show that the tenants are engaging with the Mixergy app and reducing the amount of stored hot water with peak storage at 70% and off-peak storage at 20%.

Usually, a tank is heated twice a day with a combined usage across the tanks of 63 kWh; the tenants’ interaction with the app has reduced energy consumption by 35% saving them a total of £7.50 a day across five tanks. Based on these early results, your tenants could save, on average, £10.60 a week and £551.22 a year.

Legionella and Fire Safe were awarded a large pilot project with Equans on behalf of Birmingham City Council. This included trials of installing and maintaining innovative equipment that had never been used before in the City. This project did have it’s challenges working around High Rise Social Housing and difficult tenants.
