Ignite! is the magazine for safety & compliance professionals from the ASCP.
The feature is one of the offsite bespoke engineered stack
replacements (Soil and Vent Pipe Replacements) that Legionella and Fire Safe Services have completed for Tamworth Borough Council.
In total, 60 Terrain FUZE stacks were used across this build, with several different prefabricated configurations supplied. To tackle the awkward location of the original stack, the replacements were supplied in two halves per property, enabling our specialist team to drop it easily into this space. Being in two pieces also allowed for an expansion joint to be put in the middle of the stack, making it fully rotatable so the installation team could place the access door exactly where needed.
