Legionella & Fire Safe Partners with Nescafé’ & Deborah Meaden
Legionella and Fire Safe Services (LFS) is thrilled to announce its selection as one of seven distinguished businesses across the UK, chosen to participate in the highly anticipated “Let’s Partner Up for Good” campaign, organised by Nescafé in collaboration with Nestlé Professional. This unique initiative is designed to empower SMEs in their sustainability journeys, providing them with invaluable insights and guidance from some of the most respected experts in the industry.

As part of this campaign, Kym Morris Business manager at LFS, was invited to London for an exclusive filming day, where their commitment to sustainability was highlighted. The experience offered them the opportunity to engage with and learn from serial entrepreneur and Dragons Den Star Deborah Meaden, as well as the business experts at Nescafé Nestlé Professional, including Managing Director Katya Simmons. Their knowledge and passion for sustainable business practices have inspired us to further elevate our own efforts in creating a more environmentally responsible future.
Katya Simmons, Managing Director, Nescafé by Nestlé Professional, said:
“We know that there are common themes and challenges amongst entrepreneurs. By working with real businesses, we’ve been able to understand some of those challenges first-hand and offer thoughts, tools and advice that we hope will benefit the winners and through the campaign, reach the wider SME community. If as a Nescafé team, we can support and make a positive impact, this means the world to us.”
Deborah Meaden added:
“This is a fantastic initiative that I’m delighted to be a part of. Running a business can often be overwhelming and at times, even a little lonely. There’s a lot to think about, from operating responsibly through to prioritising wellbeing for employees, all whilst focusing on growth targets and moving the business forward. Helping businesses develop and grow, based on my own experiences, is something I love to do. I look forward to seeing what the future holds for each of the winners.”
As part of our participation, a series of three short films featuring LFS will be produced and shared with the broader SME community. These films will provide valuable advice, insights, and practical tips on advancing sustainability within business operations. We are excited to share our journey, and the lessons learned, offering a resource that can benefit other businesses looking to make a similar impact.
The films are set to air from September 2024 onwards. We encourage everyone interested in sustainability and business growth to sign up for exclusive access to these films and join us on this exciting journey.
Kym Morris Business manager at LFS said “It was an incredible honour to be selected as one of the seven winners by Nestlé Professional to spend a day with their experts and Deborah Meaden. The advice we received was invaluable. We were also thrilled to get feedback from Nescafé’s sustainability expert, Robin Sundaram, who congratulated us on our significant efforts in business sustainability. We look forward to continuing our collaboration with Nestlé Professional in the future. This opportunity will enable us to enhance our sustainability strategies, ensuring that we continue to lead by example in our sector”
We invite our customers, partners, and the wider community to stay tuned for more updates and insights from our participation in this transformative campaign.
