“We Are Nothing Without Our People”
Legionella & Fire Safe Services delivers a range of water hygiene and fire safety critical building compliance services on a planned and periodic basis. We evolve our services based on client’s needs and requirements, which has most recently incorporated energy reducing solutions connected to hot water systems in both the Social Housing sector and light commercial premises.
Our business stands for quality of delivery for our clients, offering a turnkey approach which incorporates many separate service streams which can be completed at the same time.
We recognise that creating a rewarding, positive and supportive environment for our employees is key to our future growth and as such the board of directors and shareholders stand behind our motto “we are nothing without our people”
Our goals are to continue developing our people and services and delivering the highest level of service for our clients, and in doing so, we are confident in our future growth and success as a company. Everything we do is sustainable and focuses on three major elements of our business – Our People, Our Planet, and Our Profits.
Steve Morris, Managing Director
As an organisation, we are very aware of our responsibilities: to meet the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet theirs. The three pillars of sustainability are social, environmental, and economic: people, planet, and profits.
We have made sustainability an integral part of our business to achieve this.
LFS is committed to reducing our environmental footprint, reducing waste and emissions by 25% by 2030. This commitment means that 60% of our revenue is considered “clean.”
Another bonus is our commitment to gender diversity. Our board of directors is made up of 50% of women.
While we continuously work on reducing our carbon footprint, we also work with Ecologi to offset our carbon footprint using investment in Reforestation and Carbon Avoidance Projects. With the investments we have made as a company, we are proud to share that Legionella Fire Safe Services are carbon-neutral.
We have many teams within our business; all focused on helping clients achieve the best results. All are equally important. No matter which areas you work in, you’ll also be connected to a peer group of your same discipline and invited to participate in the whole LFS experience. Our default mode here is complete and cheerful cross-team collaboration. We value our team members and have an authentic, happy culture while still giving top service levels.
